Trail Building

I joined a women's mountain bike club here in Calgary - the Spin Sisters! Today was my first day out with them - unfortunately the rides have been rained out or I've had conflicts. We went out to Kananaskis in Canmore and helped build some new trail sections. It was a blast and I'd definitely do it again.

Kali's Backpack

I just bought Kali this backpack... perfect for her to carrying her own food and water on camping trips... and poo bags. The tag is still on it in this picture... I thought i'd take her out for a little bit to see if she'd like it... no problems of course - she's such a good puppy... but we ended up getting mud all over it so we're definitely keeping now. It's a large meant for dogs 50-79 lbs and she on all the smallest settings so I was thinking she might have needed a medium... I guess large will do though!

Our New House

This is our new house. We have the whole top floor of it and downstairs there is just a single apartment with one female student in it... so overall pretty quiet and homey.This is the view from the back lane... our garage (or the bat cave as Tom calls it because of the garage door opener), the garden I share with the landlord's dad (I've got the half closest to the house), and our roomy backyard. Kali definitely approves. These are a few shots of the interior that I took originally to show Tom what it looked like... things are still a little scattered so it's not very picturesque at the moment. The kitchen:
